By December 2025, ČD expects to receive eight more PESA-made units.

These PESA two-car units, part of the broader fleet modernisation for Prague and the surrounding region, will operate on lines R43 (Prague – Mladá Boleslav) and S3 (Prague – Neratovice – Všetaty – Mělník).

By the end of 2026, a total of 38 RegioFox units will be in service in the region by České dráhy, the highest concentration in the country. Currently, 72 out of the 106 ordered units have been delivered. The RegioFox is equipped with Rolls-Royce internal combustion engines, capable of running on HVO biofuel, and features low-floor access, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, USB ports, and first-class amenities including wider seats and worktables.

These units replace high-floor legacy stock on key routes and complement earlier deliveries already operating between Rakovník, Beroun, and Prague, as well as on other regional lines. The rollout is part of an integrated effort involving electric RegioPanter sets on lines S4/U4 and motorised RegioSpider units replacing older Class 810 railcars.
