SBB Cargo Schweiz has signed a new three-year contract with Eberhard Unternehmungen for construction materials transport in Switzerland. The agreement starts in 2027 and covers around 300,000 tonnes of excavated material and gravel per year.

SBB Cargo will also carry out unloading shunting at Eberhard sites under the contract.

Eberhard Unternehmungen is a Swiss family-owned construction company that uses rail and road transport for its logistics operations. The new agreement continues a long-standing rail transport relationship between Eberhard and SBB Cargo.
