About the event
The MARS 2026 Winter Meeting is a key event for Midwest rail shippers, carriers, terminal operators, government agencies, and suppliers that concentrates on the freight rail supply chain. Scheduled to run from January 13 through January 15, 2026, the meeting will be hosted by the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Over the course of three days, participants will engage in networking receptions, panel sessions on the industry, and presentations on rail freight challenges, regulatory trends, and strategic supply solutions. The study course starts with a welcome reception on the 13th and continues for two days of sessions by shippers, rail professionals, and officials.
Those in attendance will include logistics managers, railroad officials, supplier representatives, and policymakers from throughout the Midwest, thus bringing together insightful information and best practices in car supply, economic trends, and regulatory compliance.
The Winter Meeting provides an excellent environment for networking, comparing operations, and sharing key freight strategies with the regional rail community.
